Various tasks in electric arc, oxyacetylene, and MIG welding to maintain and repair Morris County’s fleet and equipment
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Weld, maintain, and repair the County’s plows, trucks, and seasonal equipment Fabricate and mount aftermarket equipment.
Qualifications
TRAINING: Successful completion of a two (2) year training program in basic welding operations.
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of varied experience in welding which shall have included oxyacetylene and arc welding and cutting.
NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required two (2) years of training may substitute additional experience as indicated above on a year for year basis.
LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of this position.
